#233: "I am part of the family of God that
truly upholds the Bible as the sole authority of both faith and
practice."—Dan Snyder. |
#233: I'm part of the family that upholds
the Bible as the sole authority of faith and practice. In actuality, Mr. Snyder's
statement is a paraphrase of the very oath he took when he became a Seventh-day Adventist.
The Adventist denomination requires all those who
wish to become its members to vow that they "believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of
God, and that it constitutes the only rule of faith
and practice for the Christian."
This writer took that vow as well. Hence, he too is part of the family of God that truly
upholds the Bible as the final authority of both faith
and practice.
